Thoughts about our project-Greek team

Our project began in 2018. Six schools from six difference countries decided to cooperate having the idea to do something about the Healthy Life. The next step and thought was how we could have a Better Life (a quality life). The result will be a Longer Life. In this way was born our project. The teachers and the students of our schools worked hard and of course we had the help of the parents. We worked with fun, excitement and joy. Teachers and students traveled to Portugal, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania. We played, we made new friends, we did many activities, we visited museums, schools, towns and we taste local foods.

Unfortunately the pandemic of the covid19 didn’t allow completing this wonderful Erasmus trip. The result was that we didn’t do the last two trips (Spain and Greece) and in addition canceled our plans. Nonetheless we will keep the great memories and the wonderful moments we have lived, which they are unique.

IMPRESSIONS ABOUT THE PROJECT

EUGÈNIA VICENS – SPAIN

As we have said countless times, as our first contact with an Erasmus experience, for us it was great.

Not only for the students, who discovered a whole new world of experiences.

I especially enjoyed some of the cultural activities (like games, traditions, songs) as they allowed me to see that although we live so far apart we have many things in common, even traditional children games.

It was a big disappointment that we have to live the COVID situation, as (asides from the difficult situation that this puts us in) didn’t allow us to live the whole Erasmus experience. We have gone on with the different activities of the project, but it hasn’t been the same at all, the motivation hasn’t been the same.

We really hope that we can participate in more Erasmus projects as we think that getting to collaborate with other children from Europe enrichments the vision of our students, makes them think more globally.

“Healthy life, better life, longer life” has opened our minds and our world. We hope to meet again soon!

About the project…

Project 'Healthy Life, Better Life, Longer Life' is the first Erasmus+ KA2 project for our school. The whole project has been very interesting and we have gained a lot of experience for the future projects.

Through TPM's, LTTA' sandplethora of different activities during two school yearsour teachers had the opportunity to be introduced with our proffesion in other european countries. Our students did a lot of interesting activities, visited other countries and had the opportunity to compare our school with schools in partner countries. Some of the students never travelled abroad before this project so they were excited.

Unfortunatelly, we didn't have the chance to finish the project properly and we are quite dissapointed about that.We lost the chance to say 'Goodbye!' inperson and to thank everybody for this excellent experience.

But, allinall, ourErasmus team members and students are grateful because we had the chance to participate in this project.

Thoughts about our project-Romanian team

The project was one of the most interesting, useful and exciting projects we participated in. The activities proposed for each year were numerous, attractive and involved a large number of students and teachers.

All students worked with great passion, interest and learned interesting and useful things about health, healthy food. The project meetings allowed the students to get to know other cultures, to make friends, to observe other education systems. The coordination of the project was excellent, the communication with the partners from the other countries was also excellent

Thouhgts about our project-Portugal team

For the Portuguese Team this Project was an excellent learning moment and also a fabulous sharing experience between all the partner schools. The activities provided and the places visited were really satisfying and the teachers and students from each country were always present and deeply absorbed in offering the best.

It was with great pleasure that we saw a strong involvement from our own students, parents and teachers throughout the Project. This opportunity to get to know and learn from other cultures was a moment that the vast majority will certainly never forget. The Covid-19 pandemic negatively affected the planned activities mainly the last mobility programmes, that didn't came to happen. This outbreak was the main difficulty of this partnership project but we still rate the entire experience as unique.
